QAPLA: 1:1 Facial Comparison for Investigators
Upload a reference photo. Upload a trigger image. QAPLA returns “Match Found” or “No Match Found” with a similarity score. No database is searched. No bulk surveillance is performed. No biometric template is stored. One face. One image. One definitive answer. Browser-based at qapla.biometrica.com, your team can be running comparisons in minutes.
How QAPLA Works
QAPLA is a standalone browser-based tool. No software installation. No database connection. No API integration required. Open a browser, log in, and start comparing.
Upload Reference Image
Select the known identity photo. This could be a badge photo, a booking photo, a DMV image, or any clear facial image of the person you are trying to identify.
Upload Trigger Image
Select the image you want to compare. A camera still from an incident, a surveillance capture, a social media photo, or any image containing a face you need to verify.
QAPLA Compares
The algorithm performs a strict 1:1 facial comparison. It does not search any database. It does not scan galleries or watchlists. It compares these two specific images and nothing else.
Get Your Result
“Match Found” (green) or “No Match Found” (red) with a similarity score. Results appear in under five seconds. The comparison is documented and can be exported for case files.
Face Detect: Additional Analysis
QAPLA includes a Face Detect tab that provides additional analysis on a single image. Upload one photo and receive:
Confidence percentage for face detection
Face attribute analysis (estimated age range, gender presentation)
Emotion score analysis
Face positioning and quality metrics
QAPLA in the Stadium
Every stadium generates situations where identity verification is the question. QAPLA gives your investigation team a definitive answer without requiring law enforcement access, database subscriptions, or specialized hardware.
Post-Incident Identity Confirmation
An altercation occurs in Section 214. Security removes the individual. The next day, you pull the camera footage. Is the person in the footage the same person identified by the responding officer? Upload the camera still and the ID photo. QAPLA confirms.
Trespass Order Enforcement
A patron is issued a trespass order. Six months later, staff suspect the same person is back. Pull the current camera image. Compare it against the trespass order photo. Document the match with a QAPLA similarity score for your legal file.
Insurance and Liability Claims
A slip-and-fall claimant says they were at the venue on a specific date. Camera footage shows someone at that location. Is it the same person? QAPLA compares the claimant's provided photo against the camera capture. The result supports or contradicts the claim.
Counterfeit Credential Detection
A badge photo does not match the person presenting the credential. Rather than relying on a visual judgment call, QAPLA provides a definitive comparison. Upload the badge photo and a current image of the person. Get a match or no-match with a scored result.
