Installation & Integration

Deployment: Days, Not Months

Most venue security technology requires a renovation cycle, a construction crew, and six months of planning. RTIS sensors deploy in days. No on-premises servers. No structural modifications. No disruption to your current operations or event schedule.

Days, Not Months Fixed or Portable No Construction

What Deployment Actually Looks Like

There is no complex integration project. No middleware. No data center buildout. Here is the deployment process from first call to operational system.

  1. Gate Survey (1-2 Days)

    Before any commitment

The Safience deployment team visits your venue (or reviews architectural plans remotely) to survey every gate, entry lane, and chokepoint. They map sensor positions for optimal coverage based on crowd flow patterns, lighting conditions, and physical infrastructure. The output is a coverage plan showing exactly where sensors go and how many you need.

    Technical Detail

Access to the venue during a non-event period. Architectural plans if available. Your security director or facilities manager as a point of contact. Cost to you at this stage: Nothing. The gate survey is complimentary.

    Deliverable

    Coverage plan with sensor positions

  2. Connectivity Assessment

    During the gate survey

Each proposed sensor position is assessed for connectivity. RTIS sensors connect via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or cellular. If your venue has existing PoE infrastructure at or near the proposed sensor positions, wired connectivity is preferred. If not, cellular-connected sensors require no cabling at all.

    Technical Detail

Information about existing network drops at gate locations, if any.

    Deliverable

    Connectivity plan

  3. Sensor Installation (1-3 Days)

    After coverage plan approval

Sensors are mounted at approved positions. For PoE-connected sensors, cabling is run to the nearest network drop. For cellular-connected sensors, mounting is the only physical work required. No structural modifications to the gate infrastructure. No new servers. No rack space. No HVAC. The sensors connect to the Safience cloud processing environment.

    Technical Detail

Physical access, facilities escort if required by your security protocols. That is it.

    Deliverable

    Installed and connected sensors

  4. System Configuration (1 Day)

Concurrent with or immediately following installation

Safience configures alert routing (which personnel receive which alert types), X-list setup (import your banned patron list and any other operator-controlled lists), and event scheduling (which sensors activate for which events). Your security director or designee walks through the alert workflow and confirms the configuration.

    Technical Detail

Your banned patron list (photos and names), alert routing preferences, designated personnel for each alert category.

    Deliverable

    Configured alert routing and X-lists

  5. Operational Validation (1 Event)

    First event after installation

Safience runs RTIS at your first event with dedicated support. The deployment team monitors sensor health, processing throughput, and alert delivery in real time. Post-event debrief with your security leadership covers any adjustments needed.

    Technical Detail

Normal event-day operations. No special accommodations needed.

    Deliverable

    Validated operational system

  6. Full Operations

    Second event onward

RTIS operates as part of your standard event-day security workflow. Safience provides ongoing remote monitoring, sensor health alerts, and system updates. The Rapid Action Center staffs your contracted event windows.

    Deliverable

    Ongoing operational platform

What You Do Not Need to Deploy RTIS

Start With a Gate Survey

The gate survey is the first step. It is also free. Our deployment team maps your venue, identifies optimal sensor positions, and delivers a coverage plan. No commitment required.
