Loss Prevention: Stop Repeat Offenders at the Gate
Organized retail crime rings and repeat offenders cost venues millions per season. Traditional loss prevention waits for the theft to happen, then responds. X-LST changes the sequence. Your watchlists run on every RTIS sensor at every entry point. Known offenders are identified as they walk in, not after they walk out. Every match is verified by a trained analyst at the Rapid Action Center before your team is alerted.
How X-LST Works for Loss Prevention
X-LST is the operator-controlled list management layer embedded within the RTIS sensor network. You build and maintain your own watchlists. Safience has no visibility into your list contents during normal operations. Each match generates an independent, compartmentalized alert.
Build Your Watchlists
Create lists for known shoplifters, ORC ring members, previously ejected patrons, persons of interest, and any other category your investigation team defines. Upload photos and identifiers. Your lists, your criteria, your control.
Real-Time Gate Scanning
X-LST runs concurrently with UMbRA on every RTIS sensor scan. When a person on your watchlist enters the sensor's field of view, the system generates a match. That match goes to the Rapid Action Center for human verification before your team receives the alert. No automated actions. No false-positive disruptions.
Compartmentalized Alerts
Each list match generates its own independent alert. An ORC alert goes to your loss prevention team. A trespass alert goes to security operations. A VIP recognition alert goes to guest services. Alerts are routed based on list category, not broadcast to everyone.
Organized Retail Crime at Venues
Stadium retail environments (team stores, merchandise stands, food and beverage outlets) are high-volume, high-distraction targets for organized retail crime. ORC rings exploit event-day crowds, seasonal staffing, and the limited sight lines of temporary retail spaces.
-
Identify known ORC operatives before they reach the retail area
Your LP team adds ORC ring members to an X-LST watchlist. RTIS sensors at entry gates identify them on arrival. Your team can position resources before the individual reaches the merchandise area.
-
Connect incidents across events and seasons
When the same individual appears at multiple events, X-LST creates a pattern. That pattern supports escalation to law enforcement, strengthens trespass enforcement, and builds a case file.
-
Coordinate with other venues
ORC rings work circuits. If your league or venue network shares intelligence (within legal and privacy boundaries), X-LST watchlists can incorporate identifications from partner venues.
Put Your Watchlists on Every Gate
X-LST runs on the same RTIS sensors that scan for threats and missing persons. No additional hardware. No additional deployment. Your lists start working the moment you upload them.
Every threat scan also searches for a missing child.
