From Sensor to Verified Alert in 60 Seconds
Six products. One platform. Every scan searches for threats and missing persons simultaneously. No biometric data is retained for non-matches. Every alert is verified by a human before it reaches your team.
Booking-sourced law enforcement records with full chain of custody
From sensor capture to identity verification against UMbRA
Non-match images are never stored. No template database created at your venue
Six Products. One Unified Platform.
Safience is not a single tool. It is an integrated identity intelligence platform with six purpose-built products. Each solves a distinct problem. All share a common data architecture, a single deployment footprint, and the same zero-retention privacy model.
RTIS
Real-Time Threat Identification System
Sensor-based identification of known threats at venue entry points. Fixed or portable deployment. Matches against UMbRA (55.5M verified law enforcement records) and operator X-lists. One image per detect. No video created. Non-match images are never stored.
RVIS
Real-Time Victim Identification System
Same platform as RTIS. Searches for missing children, trafficking victims, Silver Alert elders, and law enforcement-designated missing persons. RVIS cannot be disabled or turned off. Every RTIS scan also runs RVIS. This is the dual mission.
X-LST
X-List Technology
Purpose-agnostic list management embedded within RTIS/RVIS. Operators define their own lists: banned patrons, VIPs, executive protection, access credentials, private investigations. Runs concurrently with UMbRA. Safience has no visibility into list contents during normal operations.
QAPLA
Investigative 1:1 Facial Comparison
Standalone browser-based tool for 1:1 facial comparison. Not a search engine. User uploads a reference photo and a trigger image, gets a match/no-match result with similarity score. No connection to UMbRA or other databases. Human-initiated only.
eMotive
Continuous Criminal Monitoring
Post-hire continuous criminal monitoring. Background checks expire at midnight. Criminals do not. eMotive catches criminal events that occur after the initial background check. FCRA-compliant. Built for seasonal staff, contract security, hospitality, and food service workers.
UMbRA
Law Enforcement Identity Database
55.5 million booking-verified booking records sourced from law enforcement. Complete chain of custody. Court-ready evidence standard. Every identity can be traced back to its law enforcement source. This is the data moat that makes RTIS possible.
Every RTIS scan also runs RVIS. The dual mission is architectural, not optional. Your security deployment simultaneously searches for missing children on every scan, at every gate, at every event.
From Capture to Alert in Under 60 Seconds
This is the full operational cycle. Every step is designed for speed, accuracy, and privacy. The system captures a single image, compares it, verifies any match with a human analyst, and delivers an alert to your security team. Non-match images are discarded immediately.
-
Sensor Capture
0 sec
A person walks through a sensor field of view at a gate or entry point. RTIS captures a single image. No video is created. No biometric template is generated for non-matches.
-
Identity Comparison
< 5 sec
The captured image is compared against UMbRA (55.5M verified identities), active RVIS alerts (missing persons, trafficking victims), and operator X-lists (banned patrons, VIPs, watchlists). All comparisons run simultaneously.
-
Human Verification (RAC)
5-30 sec
If the system returns a potential match, a trained analyst at the Rapid Action Center (RAC) reviews it. The analyst confirms or dismisses the match. No alert is sent without human confirmation. No automated actions are taken.
-
Alert Dispatched
30-60 sec
Once the RAC analyst confirms a match, an alert is sent to the designated recipient. Different match types route to different people: threat matches go to security, missing person matches go to law enforcement, VIP matches go to guest services.
-
Image Discarded
Immediate (non-matches)
Non-match images are discarded immediately after comparison. They are never stored, never added to a database, never used for training. Zero biometric data retention. This is architectural, not a policy choice.
Why Human Verification Matters
Automated facial recognition systems generate false positives. Every system does. The difference is what happens next. Most vendors send the alert directly to the end user, leaving your security team to sort real matches from false ones in real time. Safience routes every potential match through the RAC first. Your team only receives confirmed matches. This reduces false-positive noise, protects against wrongful confrontation, and creates an auditable chain of decision-making.
How the Products Connect
These are not six separate tools. They share a common deployment, a common data architecture, and a common privacy model. Here is how they work together at a venue.
55.5M booking-verified identities. This is the reference database that RTIS compares against.
UMbRA
55.5M booking-verified identities. This is the reference database that RTIS compares against.
Sensor deployment at gates and entry points. Captures images and compares them against UMbRA and active lists.
RTIS
The sensor deployment at gates and entry points. It captures images and compares them against UMbRA and active lists.
RVIS
Runs on the same sensor infrastructure as RTIS. Every RTIS capture simultaneously searches RVIS databases. RVIS cannot be disabled independently.
Operator-maintained lists running concurrently with UMbRA on every RTIS scan.
X-LST
Runs concurrently with UMbRA on every RTIS scan. Operators maintain their own lists. Safience has no visibility into list contents during normal operations. Match alerts from X-LST are compartmentalized from UMbRA alerts.
Every potential match passes through human review before an alert is dispatched.
RAC
Rapid Action Center. Sits between the comparison engine and the end user. Every potential match passes through human review before an alert is dispatched.
Products that operate independently from the sensor layer.
QAPLA
Operates independently. Browser-based 1:1 facial comparison. No connection to UMbRA, RTIS, or any other product. Used for investigations and verification.
eMotive
Operates independently from RTIS/RVIS. Continuous criminal monitoring for the workforce. Integrates with HR systems, not with the sensor layer.
One Sensor, Three Searches
A single RTIS sensor capture triggers three simultaneous searches: UMbRA (law enforcement threats), RVIS (missing persons), and X-LST (operator lists). One image. Three databases. One result set routed through the RAC.
Compartmentalized Alerts
A UMbRA threat match, an RVIS missing person match, and an X-LST banned patron match each generate separate, independent alerts. Different match types route to different people. A VIP alert goes to guest services, not to law enforcement.
Standalone When Needed
QAPLA and eMotive do not require RTIS sensor deployment. QAPLA is browser-based and available immediately. eMotive connects to HR systems. A venue can start with QAPLA or eMotive before deploying sensors at the gate.
